On her way to a photoshoot in New York City today, Bosworth was spotted wearing the ultimate spring outfit—a floral dress and leather jacket—while carrying the bag trend that’s been all over fashion week (she must be keeping up with Who What Wear Australia).

Pairing a dark-floral mini dress with a patent leather jacket feels so fresh for spring. The floral is unexpected (we normally opt for a white base colour when the temps rise), and patent leather is on its way to being the next big leather trend (you heard it here first).

This easy look is ideal for casual Fridays in the office, or weekend hangs with the girls—just remember one thing, the accessories make it. So keep your ankle boots polished (I.e. no scuffs in sight), and your bag small and elegant.
