This past Saturday, there was only one place to be if you happened to find yourself in the Los Angeles area. Any guesses? We're talking about the Simply L.A. conference, which took place at The Americana at Brand. The event, designed for influencers, digital marketers, and anyone and everyone who loves all things fashion and beauty, was all about providing its attendees with the necessary tools needed to succeed in the fast-paced and ever-changing fashion and beauty industries. So think a lot of amazing networking opportunities and the chance to hear success stories from top industry professionals.
The Simply L.A. conference tackled everything from how to make content that sells to a session on mastering marketing (which, by the way, was moderated by our very own executive director of creative strategy in social, Michelle Plantan) to how to create your voice (and make a strong impact with it). But that's not all. The keynote speaker at the event was none other than Kat Graham of Vampire Diaries, who spoke about her style, her design aspirations, and her personal social media strategy. Graham's best social media tips? "Balance who you follow," and "the best way to excel in social media is to have a goal." Pretty simple, right?
In between speaker sessions, attendees were able to get glammed up at hair and nail stations and even had the chance to shop the latest Who What Wear fall collection drop.
