Amongst the noise of fashion week and the din of hundreds of spring collections dropping, it's always refreshing to come across an edit that cuts through the clickbait and gets to the heart of what we actually want to wear when the weather starts to turn: chic classics. And Joseph, a long-time fashion editor favourite, is famous for its designs that manage to feel relevant yet remain agelessly elegant and considered.
For years, the brand has embraced the elevated minimalism that is so in vogue right now with clean-lined tailoring, versatile separates and chic accessories that always speak to even the most discerning of shoppers. As I was browsing the new-season collection, I was instantly won over by the colourways offered up for 2020: soft lilac (it's more flattering than you'd think), vibrant orange, khaki green and rich maroon. At the top of my wish list has to be the brand's lilac pleated midi, which would look chic with heeled boots and a blazer now and "dad" sandals and a white tee come summer.
