Jessica Chastain Wore the Most Jaw-Dropping Gucci Diamonds to the Oscars

The Academy Awards have always been a night of glitz and glamour, especially when we’re talking about the diamonds that grace the necks, wrists, and fingers of Hollywood’s most adored celebrities. This is a huge night for fashion, where designers get to show off some of their best ready-to-wear moments, but we thought the bling deserved a closer look. One star whose jewelry stole the show at the 2022 Oscars was Jessica Chastain. Chastain wore stunning jewelry from Gucci’s second High Jewelry collection, Hortus Deliciarum, designed by Alessandro Michele. This collection is inspired by views and colors of the changing sky, and Michele also took some inspiration from the roaring twenties, as seen in the fringe, tassel necklaces, and chandelier earrings. 

For the Oscars red carpet, Chastain wore earrings, a bracelet, and a ring from the collection, which she paired with a gorgeous floor-length purple gown. Chastain’s jewelry was in all white gold with accents of color in each piece, and her hair was pulled back to show off her statement earrings. Not only is she one of my favorite actresses to watch on-screen, but the look paired with these showstopping diamonds has also put her on my best dressed list.

After taking home the award for Best Actress for The Eyes of Tammy Faye, Chastain changed into a gorgeous emerald Gucci gown and an absolutely stunning necklace for the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party. When I say stunning, I mean stunning. This necklace is a lion head necklace in 18kt white gold, opal, tanzanites, and diamonds, and a Gucci High Jewelry solitaire ring in 18kt white gold, green garnet, and diamonds. I mean, wow.
