This season, my collection of basics is having a makeover and I'm cheating on my classic white tees with a certain revived T-shirt trend. Not so long ago I was always reaching for a plain white or black tee to form the foundation for all of my best outfits, but I've recently been charmed by the striking graphic T-shirts I'm spotting everywhere.
Punctuating an outfit with a playful touch, the graphic tee trend is growing this season. It's by no means new—some might even say these T-shirts have felt "dated" for a while—but this season's offerings feel entirely fresh; peppered with colour, bold statements and an undeniably cheeky edge.
The wonderful thing about the graphic tee trend is that you can very much make it your own, and the category spans everything from designer logos to quirky prints. Incidentally, there are plenty of fun graphic tees to be found secondhand, and pre-loved sites are packed full of retro basketball prints, photographic tourist tees and of course, a good selection of band T-shirts.
