We know what you're thinking. How is it possibly award season again? We know time is going fast, but if there's ever been a day you wanted to speed through, it's today. For most in Australia, it's the first day back at work for 2018, so let us distract you from your growing to-do list, and bask in the glory of the first major red carpet for the year—the Golden Globes.

It was always going to be a different mood this year. After 2017's Harvey Weinsten exposé, the somber vibe was almost guaranteed to flow on into award season.

The way we think about Hollywood will never be the same again (in a good way). We're seeing progress, and we're taking action. And not to take away from all that good work, but the red carpet is important, too. It gives women an opportunity to send a message in the way they dress and hold themselves.
