I must start by saying that you don't in anyway need to buy an entire new wardrobe to do this. In fact, a good place to begin is by thinking about new colour combinations you can try out with your existing items. We all know the classics such as black and cream or navy and white but with red making a constant reappearance over the last few years (which I'm definitely not mad about), I've decided to make this bold shade the basis for my 2025 outfits to freshen up my style for the new year.
As a colour that makes a statement, it has the power to make you feel effortlessly sexy or uplift an otherwise simple look. It's one to rely on no matter the time of year. And as a stylist of over 10 years, often people ask me how to style it. Surprising to some, the look-at-me colour actually works well with so many other colours––from tonal shades of camel and warm chocolate brown to soft yellow and pink tones.
