The Fall 2018 Trends Celebs Wore 25 Years Ago

It's only mid-September, and we've already talked a lot about fall trends. While we credit runway shows for sparking many of the looks everyone will be wearing, it's far from the only place to get inspiration. A handful of celebrities were way ahead of their time in the '90s and expertly wore several of the trends that have come back this year. What goes around comes around, right?
Anna Wintour, for one, showed us the perfect way to wear the oversize jacket trend that popped up on the F/W 18 runway at Balenciaga, Dries Van Noten, and Y/Project. Naomi Campbell, Iman, Julia Roberts, and Princess Diana were other celebs whose outfits would look right at home this season—scroll down to see how they wore fall's biggest trends in the '90s.

After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2015, where she is now the Associate Director of Fashion News. From the Oscars to the Met Gala, she leads the site's entire red carpet coverage strategy. She specializes in celebrity and fashion news but also enjoys writing travel features and runway reports.
