Prediction: This Will be the Biggest Denim Trend for Winter

Winter = an excuse to wear denim every day of the week (that is, if you work in a casual environment, like the Who What Wear Australia offices). Right now we’re in the middle of prepping what our winter wardrobes look like, and it’s important to get the denim sorted first. There are so many different styles—from step hem, to drop hem, to high-rise skinny, so we asked denim aficionado Jamie Blakey—creative director and founder of One Teaspoon, what the biggest denim trend of the season will be.
Keep scrolling to read what she had to say, peep the trend on Gigi Hadid and shop a pair to adopt the trend.
“This winter it is all about a slouchy low waist, drop rise, drop crotch and tapered leg jean that is fitted at the calf and ankle, whether it be a skinny or slouchy fitted style. The back pockets are dropped for that slightly extra slouch. Distressing is also back, with supermodels like Gigi Hadid and Nicole Trunfio pioneering the trend.”
