Like clockwork every season, I look to Copenhagen Fashion Week as a bellwether for trends both on and off the runway. The Danish capital's fashion week gets the benefit of preceding those in New York, London, Milan, and Paris and thereby offers an enticing first glimpse at what's to come. Plus, the mix of brilliant designers (both up-and-coming like Helmstedt and cult faves like Ganni) and impossibly stylish attendees make it an event to circle on your calendar in thick red pen every season. So when Copenhagen Fashion Week invited me to see the action up close, I jumped at the chance.

Scandinavian girls like Annabel Rosendahl and Emili Sindlev join women from all corners of the globe in Copenhagen and didn't skimp on their outfits in the least bit.
