Instead, we want to be getting merry and enjoying time with our loved ones, so I'm all about quick and easy makeup looks that still have that festive touch. CHRISTMAS MAKEUP IDEAS
1. Sugar Plum Fairy Makeup
If you've been on TikTok lately, then I'm sure you will have seen Hailey Bieber's video creating a "sugar plum fairy" makeup look. Since then, I've been seeing this pretty, super-wearable look everywhere, and it's perfect for the festive season.
All you need to re-create this makeup is a pink, shimmery blusher, a matching eye shadow and a high-shine lip gloss. Simply apply the blusher to the cheeks and the bridge of the nose, then swipe on some eye shadow and lipgloss and you're good to go.

This long-lasting cream eye shadow features a rose-gold sparkle that will give the most beautiful finish.
I like to opt for a cream blush to give me that healthy glow, and this rosy shade from Sculpted by Aimee is going straight on my Christmas list.
2. Glossy Red Lip
Next up, you can't go wrong with a red lip, and this year it's all about a super-glossy finish. The great thing about this makeup trend is that you can keep the rest of your look super minimal and let the lips do all the talking.
For a defined look, I recommend taking a slightly darker lip liner to outline the lips before you go in with a lighter gloss.

3. Frosted Eye Shadow
Icy makeup is trending at the moment, but if you don't fancy doing the full look, then frosted eye shadow is the easiest and quickest way to incorporate the trend into your look. Opt for icy blue and grey shades for a wintry finish.
Adding winged liner and natural-looking false lashes will help to make your eye shadow stand out even more.

To get really glowy skin, I recommend using a hydrating, luminous primer before going in with foundation or tinted moisturiser, then a cream highlighter. My top tip? Finish everything off with a shimmering setting spray.

Last but by no means least, say hello to "no-makeup makeup". This look is great if you like to keep things casual at Christmas. Whether you want to go totally makeup-free or apply a little bit of tinted moisturiser and lip balm for a soft glow, you can tailor this trend to suit you.
Sofia Richie Grainge is so good at doing a full face of natural-looking makeup, and I love this more pared-back look.
