We Found 3 Underground Brands Straight Out of New York City
There’s no denying that sometimes Fashion Week can start to feel a little over-broadcasted. With the seemingly endless stream of street style and runway images being shared by bloggers and editors alike, it’s admittedly easy to start to feel jaded about the whole event.
If you find yourself starting to quickly scroll past Fashion Week related posts without caring, you’re not alone. After all, who hasn’t seen pictures of Calvin Klein’s NYFW runway show by now? Don’t get us wrong, we’re not saying we don’t appreciate everything that goes into Fashion Week; we just think that it’s also nice to get a fresh take on it.
Thankfully, one of our favourite fashion influencers, Sydney-based stylist Chloe Hill, enlightened us with just the kind of new perspective we’ve been craving. Having attended NYFW herself, Hill shared with us three under-the-radar brands she loved. Keep reading to see which brands she discovered and read the reasons why she liked them.
Nanushka
"Nanushka sure know how to nail effortless separates. My favourites? Chocolate brown pants paired with a slouchy hoodie in the same hue."
Moon Choi
"I have super narrow shoulders so I was over the moon (excuse the pun) when I saw Moon Choi’s structured silhouettes!"
Claudia Li
"Claudia Li’s collection was packed with something for everyone; from dreamy white shirting, to printed knit-wear. My personal favourite was the luxe shearing jacket."
Also a fan of Chloe's favourites? Thankfully, Nanushka, Moon Choi, and Claudia Li are available to shop online.
