Stars can often play it safe during awards season, finding comfort in frothy embellished gowns and crowd-pleasing nude frocks, however, the Fashion Awards is one red carpet that always invites extreme risk-taking. It can certainly never be accused of being bland. Tonight's red carpet was once again a place for experimentation and rule-breaking, as the likes of Jourdan Dunn, Alexa Chung and Kaia Gerber embraced the fun of dressing up. Model Adwoa Aboah was named Model of the Year and resembled a disco ball in her Halpern Studio pink-and-blue sequined minidress, meanwhile, Selena Gomez did her best Little House on the Prairie impression in a ruffled Coach lemon sleeved smock with white pointed boots.
As expected, we saw beautiful gowns by the likes of Vivienne Westwood and Versace, however, the great British high street also had a moment on the red carpet, as you'll find River Island, M&S, Topshop and House of Fraser in the gallery below.
