The 8 Girls I Follow for the Best Sneaker Outfits
I'm an avid sneaker wearer. I wouldn't go so far to say that I'm a "sneakerhead" or even call myself a Hypebae (though I follow the account dutifully), but I'm somewhat of an in-betweener when it comes to wearing sneakers. I wear them at least three days out of the week with everything from slip dresses to trousers and, of course, with jeans. I don't have to spell out exactly why I gravitate toward the shoes because if you've ever swapped out your heels for a pair of rubber-soled sneakers, you'll know their strong comfort appeal.
Which brings me to my favorite topic: outfits. Following these eight Instagram accounts with killer style fuels my sneaker outfits on the regular. Just when I feel like I'm wearing the same sneaker-and-dress outfit on repeat, all it takes is seeing the fresh ways these girls are styling them for my sneaker outfits to be instantly revived. From outfits with the most inventive use of color to the looks that feel easy and achievable, I follow these eight accounts for nonstop inspiration, and I suggest you put them on your radar too.
Anaa Saber
Who What Wear athleisure columnist Anaa Saber knows a thing or two about wearing sneakers. Her closet is always stocked with pairs from the latest, buzziest drops, and she's garnered quite a following for her "unorthodox sneaker styling".
Alani Noelle
Nobody does tonal dressing quite like Alani. If her head-to-toe pink and lavender outfits (sneakers very much included) don't inspire you to break out of your color shell, then nothing will.
Claire Mosteghanemi
This French girl's feed serves up all the effortlessly stylish appeal we know and love about the country. Every one of her outfit posts ends up in my "saved" folder because they all feel cool yet achievable.
Maren Schia
For fun, playful sneaker outfits, I adore Maren Schia's style. The Scandinavian isn't afraid to break out seasonal trends like bucket hats, clear bags, and biker shorts—sometimes all in one go.
Maria Alia
I don't follow this NYC-based fashion girl for her sneaker outfits alone, but when she does wear them, it's always with a polished sensibility.
Bianca Valle
Bianca can switch off between wearing her sneakers with a prairie dress or with jeans and a chain belt, so I'm always curious to see which combos she'll be serving up next.
Available in sizes 5 to 12.
Evelynn Escobar-Thomas
If you've ever thought streetwear was an intimidating subculture of fashion that's hard to break into, Evelynn's style is here to make a case for its down-to-earth appeal.
Imani Randolph
Not all sneaker outfits necessarily have an athleisure vibe to them, and thanks to Imani's style, I'm all the more motivated to wear my sneakers with every single one of my summery dresses this season.
Now read about the under-$100 sneakers dominating 2018.
