It has taken me years to build up a collection of hoop earrings I am in love with. Style Notes: Embellished hoops come in many forms Alighieri introduced us to the drop-pearl trend, and now we’re seeing it with all kind of stones. Not just for the evening, these can bring some extra personality to jeans and a chunky knit during the daytime.

6. "Art-Teacher" Hoops
Styles Notes: These “art teacher” hoops (aka colourful resin earrings) live best on the beach or in summer months, but that’s not to say they won’t work in winter too.
