This Cult French Shoe Brand Is About to Blow Up in the U.S.

Peek into any French girl's shoe closet, and you're bound to find a pair (or three) of Repetto flats. While some Americans may be familiar with the brand, mark our words: It's about to become much, much bigger in the United States. Footwear News reports that Repetto has major plans to expand stateside. Can the brand gain the same cult status in the U.S. that it already enjoys in France? Only time will tell.
As for specifics, Footwear News reports that Repetto has plans for new retail stores, pop-up shops, a collaboration, and even a dance studio. The stores will be located in Miami, New York, and the West Coast, while the limited-edition collab—which includes Brigitte Bardot–inspired gingham ballet flats—will only be available in Barneys stores across the country. Head over to Footwear News for the full scoop on the expansion, and scroll down to pre-order our favorite picks from the brand's collaboration.
