I Can't Stop Thinking About These 6 Fall Looks I Found on Instagram
Sponsor Content Created With Macy's
As much as I'd like to be the type of person who throws together an outfit and beauty look in minutes, I'm simply not (and trust me I've tried!). I usually spend more time than I'd like to admit in my closet, trying on different outfit pairings before I land on the perfect one. And don't even get me started on my beauty routine…
On the days when I'm feeling particularly stumped or uninspired, I'll do a quick scroll through Instagram to see what some of my favorite style influencers and fellow editors are wearing. I've found some really cool looks using this method lately, ranging from casual denim 'fits to on-trend suiting. Below are six of my favorites, complete with beauty picks from each woman featured. Oh, and did I mention they're all conveniently shoppable at Macy's? Happy fall shopping!
I love the idea of sizing up in a sweatshirt to wear it as a dress, especially when the styling involves on-trend white boots and a plaid blazer. Adding a little shimmering eye shadow doesn't hurt either, according to Julia Havens.
Associate fashion editor Anneliese Dominguez keeps it simple with a super cute and trendy cropped cardigan, high-rise denim, and a little mascara (for good measure, of course).
A modern suit is something everyone should have in their wardrobe, IMHO. This one I spotted on Veronica Bonilla made me stop scrolling because of the very chic and very on-trend belting details on both the jacket and pants. The look is bold as is, so a simple lip stain will do the trick in the makeup department.
I'm now convinced I need the 724 Levi's after seeing them on both Dominguez (above) and Brit Harvey. Harvey has also reminded me how cool denim-on-denim outfits are, so I'm officially making them a part of my regular rotation this fall. To finish off the low-key look, she swipes on a little lip and cheek highlight because, honestly, why not?
Remember that white sweatshirt above? I spotted Natacha John wearing the same one styled with the matching sweatpants and an oversize puffer vest. This is the perfect look for an early morning coffee run, according to John: No makeup needed, just a spritz of her favorite perfume will do.
My co-worker (and WWW beauty editor!) Courtney Higgs says she always feels the most put-together in a blazer outfit like this one. In terms of beauty, it's all about good brows for her.
