It's True—This "Boring" Jumper Makes Every Autumn Outfit Look So Much Chicer

My friends often joke that my wardrobe looks like a stock room. The reason? Because it’s filled with seemingly large quantities of the same item—from blue, straight-leg jeans and dark floral dresses to top-handle bags and checked skirts. What can I say? I know what I like! And the garment I have more of than anything else? Hands down, it’s got to be cream jumpers.
Basic it may be, but in my opinion, there’s nothing that looks quite as chic as a cream jumper. Barely an autumn day goes by when I don’t wear cream knitwear, whether it's with the aforementioned blue jeans or checked skirts (or even over my dark floral dresses). And it seems I’m not the only one.
So many of my fashion friends have been wearing this staple of late and to very stylish avail. Keep scrolling to see the coolest cream-jumper ensembles, and then proceed to shop my edit of the best cream jumpers to spend your money on.
How to Style Cream Jumpers:
Marisa goes top-to-toe cream with tailored trousers and the Maison Margiela Split-toe tabi shoes.
You can't go wrong with an ecru and white ensemble for the colder months.
The top knitwear hybrid has taken off over the last few years. Like Rachael, pair yours with gold jewels aplenty to decorate the décolletage.
A simple combo of a cream knit and baggy jeans looks so chic.
Make like Monikh and pair your cream sweater with a matching midi skirt.
Lizzy's look is set to my go-to for autumn weekends.
Sylvie's classic outfit is one I know I'll reach for time and time again this season.
If you're feeling bold enough, wear your cream knit with a matching mini skirt and knee-high boots. A camel coat is the perfect addition.
Chiara knows that layering is essential this time of year. We love how she's worn her oversized cream knit with a denim shirt dress and slouchy boots. Just perfection!
