Beauty Pie Is One of the Best Places to Buy Perfume—These Smell So Expensive
If you want to smell luxurious without breaking the bank, you need to know about these Beauty Pie perfumes.

If you've read any of my articles, then you'll know that when it comes to the best perfumes, I love an affordable fragrance. As someone who works in the beauty industry, I'm lucky enough to receive samples of both luxury and high-street perfumes, and I truly believe that you don't have to spend a fortune to smell good. That's why I'm always rounding up my favourite Zara perfumes, my top M&S scents and even the fragrances I'm loving from high street favourite & Other Stories. However, a while ago, I noticed that one of my go-to affordable beauty brands, Beauty Pie, also had an amazing selection of perfumes on its site, and as soon as I saw them, I was desperate to give them a go.
If you didn't know, Beauty Pie is essentially a subscription beauty website where you can get incredible formulas for a fraction of the price. From just £10 a month, you can purchase a huge range of skincare, bodycare, makeup and more at factory prices, and get your hands on some of the brand's best-selling products. There is currently a wide range of fragrances on offer, ranging from £28 to £33. If you aren't a member, then these perfumes will set you back £50 or more, so you're definitely saving on a luxury scent by signing up.
Junior beauty editor Grace Lindsay has tested lots of popular perfumes from Beauty Pie.
After reading about each of the Beauty Pie fragrances, I was intrigued to give some of the most popular ones a go, so I've spent the past few months wearing different scents from the brand. It's my job to let you know about the best products on the market, and after trying these fragrances out, I knew I had to share my findings. As you'll see below, for me, there was one clear winner, but that's not to say that I didn't have thoughts about the other perfumes.
So, whether you're looking for a new autumn scent or you're simply just as obsessed as me with finding the best beauty deals, keep on scrolling to see how I got on.

1. Beauty Pie Le Smash Santal

Key notes: Almond, cardamom, tea leaves, vanilla, lavender, sandalwood, musk, suede
Beauty Pie really smashed it out of the park with this perfume (see what I did there). I've written a whole article on the brand's Le Smash Santal scent as I love it that much. It's an incredibly complex fragrance that smells so much more expensive than it actually is, with a creamy base of sandalwood, musk and suede. It's the kind of perfume you want to nuzzle your nose into, like a cashmere blanket or your favourite winter jumper.
2. Beauty Pie Vanille Nue
Price shown is members' price.
Key notes: Vanilla, bergamot, rum absolute, jasmine, musk
This is easily my second-favourite fragrance of the lot, and if I'm being honest, I now can't imagine my perfume wardrobe without it. It's worth noting that I love sweet, gourmand fragrances, so if that's not your thing, then this might not be for you. However, if you, too, love warming, vanilla scents, then I highly recommend giving this a go. Spraying it literally feels like a warm hug, with notes of jasmine and musk adding a sensual edge to the vanilla base. It's perfect for both day and night, and you can also layer it with other scents depending on the occasion. The thing that stood out the most to me was the lasting power of this perfume. After a long day of traveling on the tube and running around the office, I could still smell this fragrance on me when I got home, and for just £28, I think that's pretty impressive.
3. Beauty Pie Orris Florentina
Price shown is members' price.
Key notes: Orange, pink peppercorn, bergamot, orris, incense, vanilla, cedarwood, tonka bean
I always think floral fragrances can be hit or miss, but this is a total hit in my eyes. Soft, chic and sensual, this perfume ticks all the boxes for me. It opens with zesty orange and bergamot, before a heart of orris delicately blooms on the skin. A base of vanilla and cedarwood elevates the entire scent, earning me compliments whenever I wear it.
4. Beauty Pie She Brought Peonies
Price shown is members' price.
Key notes: Plum, red apple, peony, rose absolute, jasmine
Speaking of floral fragrances, this particular perfume is perfect for the spring and summer months thanks to notes of sweet, fresh peony and juicy red apple. Don't be fooled, though, as a hint of patchouli oil gives this fragrance a hidden depth, making it smell much more expensive than the £28 price tag.
5. Beauty Pie Une Balade En Forêt
Price shown is members' price.
Key notes: Fir balsam, gentian absolute, cashmere, amber, citrus
This fragrance is very different from the selection above, but there's no denying how luxurious it smells. It's definitely more of a unisex scent (my boyfriend is a big fan), with fresh, slightly spicy fir balsam blending beautifully with warm amber and sparkling citrus notes. It's invigorating and intoxicating, and definitely has a more unique finish compared to the other perfumes on offer, so I don't doubt that everyone will be asking you what perfume you are wearing when you spritz this.
6. Beauty Pie Brazilian Lime, Fig Leaves & Tea
Price shown is members' price.
Key notes: Lemon, orange, bergamot, lime, fig leaves, black tea, violet, cedarwood, amber, musk
Fresh, clean and modern, this citrusy fragrance from Beauty Pie is perfect for when you need a boost. Zesty notes of lemon, orange and bergamot create the ultimate mood-booster, while black tea and fig leaves add unexpected depth. I can see myself reaching for this every morning during those dark winter months.
7. Beauty Pie La Flâneuse
Price shown is members' price.
Key notes: Fig, cardamom, jasmine, cedarwood, sandalwood, cashmere wood
This is a far cry from my usual gourmand fragrances, but it still smells just as expensive. If you like slightly spicy, woody scents, then you will love this. It reminds me of fragrances from the likes of Le Labo and Byredo, with earthy notes such as cedarwood and fig. When I spritz it, memories of crisp winter walks come to mind.
