Who What Wear UK Next in Beauty Awards 2025: Best in Body & Nails
First up is this moisturising body lotion from dermatologist-recommended brand CeraVe. Designed to relieve dryness symptoms such as itchiness, tightness and rough texture, the fast-absorbing formula features three essential ceramides, hyaluronic acid and 5% hydro-urea to nourish and strengthen the skin barrier. The best bit? The fragrance-free lotion is also suitable for sensitive skin.
"I love this moisturiser," says aesthetician and product developer Alicia Lartey. "I really like products with urea, as it’s a superstar humectant for skin hydration. I used to use this product on my clients post-TCA peel."
"This is a product I already had on my shelf long before the judging process, and it remains one of my most-used moisturisers," adds Who What Wear UK junior branded content editor Humaa Hussain. "It’s simple, fragrance-free and seriously effective at tackling dryness. When my knuckles became cracked and sore last winter, this was the only cream that healed them. The texture is rich enough to feel nourishing but not so thick that it sits on top of the skin. It sinks in quickly, leaves no greasiness and provides lasting hydration."

Bodycare tools are a fast-expanding category, and there are already a fair few on the market. Our judges fell in love with Magnitone's Diablo Pro Body Sculpting Device. Combining microcurrent, radiofrequency and massage technology to tighten, tone and smooth the skin, this clever device has six conductive heads and three intensity levels to give you a spa-like treatment at home.
"This is a great body tool to help tone and enhance the results from my workouts, with radiofrequency, microcurrent and massage modalities," says beauty editor Eleanor Vousden. "The massage setting is particularly great for easing post-workout aches."
Ayurvedic wellness therapist Dimple Amani is also a fan, praising the tool's smaller size and the plumping effects it had on her skin.

Body oils are the secret to radiant, nourished skin, and if you want to glow on the go, then you're going to want to read all about Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Roll-On. The French beauty brand has redesigned its iconic body oil in a roll-on format, making it so much easier to slather your skin in the luxurious formula.
Personally, I'm a huge fan of the original oil, but this new format takes everything up a notch, leaving my skin feeling silky soft and smelling just like a summer holiday in no time at all.
"I like this roll-on; it’s quick, easy and I love the smell," says Emily Lansley, session and celebrity manicurist, facialist and tanning expert. "My skin looks hydrated and glowy."

Don't overlook a great shower gel in your bodycare routine. Case in point: Space NK Paros Tides Body Wash. The hydrating formula and uplifting fragrance were total hits with our judges.
"Space NK is always spot-on when it comes to its own brand of products, and this body wash is no exception," says global tanning expert James Read. "The scent is calm, fresh, uplifting and subtly serene. It feels like an everyday indulgence, elevating your routine whilst nourishing your skin."
Beauty director Shannon Lawlor couldn't agree more. "This stuff smells like a luxury perfume, is appealing to all genders and feels super-luxurious. No notes."

An "everything shower" isn't complete without a bit of exfoliation, and AKT London's Foaming Body Scrub impressed our judges the most. Rice and sugar exfoliants, papaya enzymes and nourishing oils all work together to reveal your softest skin yet.
According to Read, the formula is a joy to use. "It delivered a truly luxurious experience from the moment of the very first touch," he says. "As I massaged it into my skin, it felt like it was working its magic. It's effective yet never harsh or abrasive, unlike some scrubs. As someone who formulates products, [I can tell that] a great deal of thought and care has gone into this formula. And the fragrance? Simply incredible; uplifting, spa-like and indulgent, instantly transporting me to a five-star retreat, all from the comfort of my own home."

We love an easy, fuss-free bronze glow, and Lansley gave By Terry's Tea to Tan Face & Body bronzing spray a rave review. "This is a beautiful product," she says. "It smells great, and the mist is fine and light."
The tan's natural matte finish and skincare benefits allow the product to hydrate and create a lit-from-within glow. It can be used on both the face and body, and the transfer-proof formula can be removed with water. Fake tanning has never been this easy.

Hair removal is never a fun job, but according to our judges, Mylee's Strip Off Waxing Kit made the whole thing a lot easier. It includes a digital wax heater, a trio of best-selling stripless waxes and all the accessories you need (such as spatulas and post-wax oil) to get smooth skin in the comfort of your own home.
"This was a very easy kit to use. It removes hair well and actually pulls from the root. I will continue to use it," says international nail artist Julia Diogo.

If you're looking for a product to help improve the health of your nails, then you're going to want to know about Andreia Professional Lab Peach Cuticle Oil. "I love the smell of this oil, and after a few weeks of use, my nails are definitely more hydrated and stronger," says nail and skincare specialist Jenni Coles.
"[This is] a super-hydrating and nourishing cuticle oil that I will for sure be sharing with my clients and purchasing again," adds Diogo.

Press-on nails can be hit or miss, but when a brand gets them right, they are so good for creating a salon-worthy manicure at home in an instant. These Elegant Touch nails are aptly named Salon French, and our judges praised them for the polished finish they create.
"There’s something so chic about a French manicure, and these Elegant Touch press-ons capture it perfectly. The fit is good, the application is simple and the effect is polished," says Juanita Huber-Millet, founder and creative director of Townhouse.

A foot soak might not be the most glamorous of products, but the results of Westlab's Dead Sea Salt Foot Soak speak for themselves. "I love this product," says Diogo. "It feels super-relaxing on the feet and helped with my mild build-up of dry skin."
Enriched with sea salt, colloidal oatmeal and essential oils, the clever formula works to soften rough skin and leave your feet feeling oh-so soft.

Great skin starts from within, which is why we've been busy putting the best ingestible skincare products to the test. The winner? Agent Nateur's Holi Advanced Daily Magnesium Complex. "Of all the products I reviewed, this was my favourite by far," says SEO writer Ava Gilchrist. "The consistency is thick but not hard to digest or tough to swallow. The flavour reminds me of Gatorade, so I didn't have any issues drinking it on its own. I had mine a few hours before I went to bed each night and noticed I didn't experience any grogginess or cloudiness in the morning. I drifted off to sleep so easily and noticed my sleep quality had dramatically improved."
Beauty writer and content creator Laura Pearson also praised the quality of the supplement and its delicious taste. Featuring six advanced forms of magnesium in a key lime pie flavour, we can see why this liquid complex proved so popular.

Deodorant has had a real glow-up over the past few years, with plenty of impressive formulas now on offer. However, it was Megababe's The Santal Deo that our judges loved the most. "I'm typically very picky with my deodorant, so I was sceptical about this product, but it works so well. It not only smells amazing, but lasts all day. I'll be buying this again," says editorial assistant Brittany Davy.
The clean, aluminium-free, dermatologist-approved formula also impressed beauty content creator Lesley Buckle. "This deodorant feels comfortable on the skin. The scent is subtle, yet fresh and clean. I love that it doesn’t leave any white marks, and it keeps me feeling fresh through the day."
Shop the Winner:
There's one body product that has seriously captured our attention: Vaseline's Gluta-Hya Body Lotion. These lightweight, serum-like moisturisers are packed with skin-loving ingredients, and our expert judges couldn't get enough of the glow-boosting formulas.
"I didn't expect to love this product, but I really, really did," says managing editor Poppy Nash. "So much so that I actually purchased two tubes for my friends so they could try it too!"
Session manicurist and founder of Manicured London, Tinu Bello, shares this sentiment. "I would highly recommend these body lotions. They do exactly what they say!"

The original creators of BIAB (builder in a bottle), this brand uses a specific builder-gel formula to create a polished manicure that protects and helps strengthen nails.
"This manicure lasted really well and didn't chip, and the natural-looking light-pink shade grew out very evenly," says news writer Natalie Munro. "My nails felt strong and healthy the entire time. I would definitely get this again."

If you prefer an at-home manicure, we crowned Sally Hansen's Miracle Gel Polish as our 2025 nail polish winner. "This formula is excellent: smooth, easy to work with and it dries in under a minute," says session manicurist Sabrina Gayle. "Once set, the finish is beautifully glossy, giving a salon-quality appearance at home."

Speaking of nails, we put quite a few nail tools to the test, and the judges deemed Ruby Hammer's Neon Nail File the best of the bunch. "I love the design and the packaging," says Coles. It works well, looks good and can be used again and again."
Huber-Millet is also a fan. "Ruby Hammer’s kit is all about making everyday beauty feel elevated. This glass file protects and smooths, reducing splitting, sealing edges and delivering on aesthetic allure. It feels luxe and considered, right down to the neon design and protective case. It’s nice to use and a lovely accessory if you value the little details."

We never leave the house without hand cream in our bags, especially in the winter. After testing lots of hardworking formulas, Joonbyrd's Confetti Sky Hand Treatment impressed our judges the most. Packed with peptides and vitamin E, this cream boosts collagen and elastin production and leaves hands feeling silky-soft. Plus, it smells absolutely delicious thanks to notes of sandalwood, chocolate and rose.
"I love this product," says Gayle. "It feels rich and luxurious on the skin, and is deeply hydrating and moisturising whilst leaving my hands looking radiant and refreshed. The scent is gorgeous, too."

"This is a truly unbelievable body treatment, especially considering the price," says Lawlor. "The therapist’s expertise was second-to-none, and the body stretching sets it apart from anything else I have ever tried."

SPF is so important, but we know how hard it can be to find a formula that works for you. However, according to our judges, The Ritual of Karma Milky Sunscreen Spray SPF 30 ticked all the boxes. "Rituals has really paved the way for milky sunscreens that leave no white cast. This formula is non-sticky, the scent is incredible and it’s a product I find myself recommending time and time again," says freelance beauty and lifestyle journalist and creator Vanese Maddix.
