The rain in London this week has been particularly terrible. Today, my lunch fell on the floor thanks to a disintegrated paper bag, and despite an umbrella, I still returned to lunch completely soggy. It's certainly trench weather, and there's one high-street coat that will earn you all the compliments this rainy season. Yep—ASOS has created a classic oversize trench that is spliced with colourful fabric on the sleeves and side of the coat. You can opt for neon green, lilac or orange for a flash of colour.
Given how striking this coat is, it's hardly a surprise that it's becoming a mainstay on the Who What Wear Instagram feed, as editors and influencers have all added this trench to their wardrobes. We always want to be sure that the products we recommend to you are actually as good as they look in the e-commerce site pictures, so we ordered all three trenches to the office to try them on for ourselves. The weight of the fabric was impressive, and despite the vibrant colours, it went with all the outfits we were already wearing. It certainly passed the Who What Wear test.
