We wonder who was more nervous: Anna Wintour meeting Kate Middleton or vice versa. Regardless, two of the most talked-about women in fashion just met at Buckingham Palace, and judging by the lack of photos of them together, it seemed to be their very first public meeting.
The Duchess of Cambridge and Vogue's editor in chief came together to celebrate the creation of the Commonwealth Fashion Exchange, which supports designers from all 53 Commonwealth countries, including Australia and New Zealand. For the occasion, Middleton wore a custom Erdem dress while Wintour was on the same wavelength with a printed long-sleeve midi dress that perfectly coordinated with Middleton's.
