After walking in a total of 17 Victoria's Secret Fashion Shows, model and Angel Alessandra Ambrosio has decided to hang up her wings, making the 2017 Shanghai show her final time strutting for the lingerie spectacle.
As Entertainment Tonight reports, Ambrosio's decision stems from a desire to focus more of her time and energy on her two young children, Anja (who traveled to Shanghai with her mom) and Noah. But by no means was this an easy choice for the model.
After nearly two decades of being a part of the extravaganza that is the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, Ambrosio shared with ET that her final walk will be an emotional one, adding that she knows she and her fellow Angels, who she referred to as "family," will always remain close.
In honor of the Ambrosio's last-ever VS Fashion Show, we've rounded up five photos of the model at this year's event, from her arrival in Shanghai to the hectic backstage moments to her final, emotional runway walk.
